CMV volleybal – Start with volleybal from the age of ±5 year

For children aged 5 to 12 years, they can participate in CMV (Cool Moves Volley) at Nuvoc. This program is structured into multiple levels—specially designed for each age group—to gradually reach the desired volleyball level, allowing them to progress to the C youth team.

Voor seizoen 2024-2025 hebben we 6 trainingsgroepen binnen deze categorie. Er wordt iedere woensdagmiddag in de Nuvoc hal getraind van 17.45 – 19:15 uur onder begeleiding van meerdere ervaren trainers.

Currently the Wednesday group is full and within the CMV group there is only availability for Saturday morning. Curious about the possibilities? Contact us.

What is CMV volleybal? Cool Moves Volley?

Cool Moves Volley is a sport with many 'cool moves': serve, pass, set-up, smash, block and dive. The children do something different every time and with the team they try to score. This way they learn the correct volleyball movements at a young age and they also play sports as a team. CMV is made up of 6 levels, from CMV 1 to CMV 6, approximately every year the CMV members move up 1 level.

To learn how to move and play the game, they start by catching and throwing over the net. At the first levels, the ball does not have to be bounced with difficulty on the fingers or arms, as older volleyball players do. Finally, at the end of level 6 they play volleyball in teams of 3 against 3, on a compact volleyball court.

MORE THAN JUST SPORTS

Fun activities for young ages

As you would expect from an association, several activities are organized throughout the year especially for the young members within Nuvoc. Sometimes these activities have a sport or game element, but that is certainly not always the case. Think of fun activities such as:

Brother / sisters / friends training
Sinterklaas / surprises
Christmas mini mix tournament
Special carnaval training
End of season CMV activity + tournament

You are always welcome to see if CMV is something for your child(ren). We train on Wednesdays from 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM our sportshall at the Korze in Veldhoven. You can ask for Nellie Arens in the hall. Or contact us anytime via CMV@nuvoc.nl.
